Electronic Signature Feature Added to PrimusLabs App

Azzule has added a new feature to the recently released PrimusLabs App. The app can be used to access your PrimusLabs laboratory testing results. The new feature enables app users to sign the results electronically, saving them time and offering them greater convenience while ensuring compliance with the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA).

FSMA’s Produce Safety Rule necessitates that required documents (including laboratory test results) “must be reviewed, dated, and signed, within a reasonable amount of time after the records are made, by a supervisor or responsible party” (21 CFR 112.161(b)). The electronic signature feature obviates the need for lab results to be exchanged multiple times to secure the signature of the lab client.
